
The European Union’s (EU) sanctions against Iran and Russia pose a challenge for the Armenian economy, Report informs via Armenian media.
“Due to sanctions against our partners like Russia and Iran, the use of our economic potential is limited by secondary sanction risks,” indicated in the Armenian Foreign Intelligence Service’s (FIS) report on foreign risks for the country in 2025.
The Foreign Intelligence Service believes that easing or lifting sanctions against these countries could have a positive impact on the country’s economy. It noted that risks for the economy will remain relevant this year.
