Three key issues need to be addressed for COP29 to be successful, Tibor Stelbaczky, principal adviser on energy diplomacy of the European Union (EU), said at the event “COP 29: Opportunities and Challenges for Climate Action. European and Regional Perspectives” at ADA University, Report informs.

“As the EU, we see three important issues that should be implemented in order to successfully hold COP29 in Baku. The first is, of course, Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). The second issue is the implementation of all the results of the Global Review within the COP28 held in Dubai. The third issue is ensuring the proper implementation of climate finance,” he stressed.
