The EU has included in the sanctions list the Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industries Corporation (HESA), which produces unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Report informs referring to the Official Journal of the EU.
HESA is an Iranian company specializing in the production of military and civil aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles. UAVs manufactured by HESA in Iran are used by the Russian Federation, reads the document.
The EU Council believes that due to the situation in Ukraine, an organization involved in the development and delivery of unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia should be included in the list of individuals and legal entities and organizations subject to restrictive measures.
