Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has urged Armenia to be oriented to the existing realities to create a roadmap for normalization of relations with Türkiye.

He said a new order is now being established in the region, “groundless memories” should be put aside and Armenia should act based on the realities of the present time, according to Anadolu Agency. 

Erdogan noted that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan now realizes this too.

The Turkish leader expressed hope that Armenia will “get rid of the darkness in which it was dragged by the Diaspora” and join the bright future.

Erdogan added that such an opportunity will not always be available, but it is necessary to effectively seize the moment.
