The leaders of Türkiye and Greece, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, will determine on Monday the road map that Ankara and Athens will follow and discuss the prospects for growth in trade turnover and the situation in Gaza, Report informs via the Hürriyet newspaper.

Mitsotakis will visit Ankara on May 13 in response to the Turkish President’s visit to Athens in December 2023.

According to the newspaper, during the meeting between Erdogan and Mitsotakis, the agenda will cover various fields, such as economics, transport, science, technology, agriculture, tourism, healthcare, as well as humanitarian ties.

“Steps that may increase the trade volume between the two countries, which stands at around $6 billion, to $10 billion will be assessed. Erdogan also intends to brief Mitsotakis on Türkiye’s views and diplomacy on regional and international events, especially the Palestinian-Israeli conflict,” the newspaper wrote.
