The President of Turkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who visited the quake-hit region today, met with the staff of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, who provided humanitarian aid to the brotherly country upon the instructions of the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, at Gaziantep airport, Report informs.
The representative of the Foundation Elvin Aslanov said that all the people of Azerbaijan, all organizations of the country are mobilized to provide the necessary assistance to Turkiye.
Erdogan, expressing his gratitude for the mobilization of the Azerbaijani state and people around the tragedy in Turkiye, said:
“I thank my brother Ilham and my sister Mehriban on behalf of myself and my nation!”
