Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will pay a working visit to Azerbaijan in mid-December, the Serbian Embassy told Report.

The main purpose of his visit is to expedite an implementation of all the agreements reached recently in Belgrade with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, primarily in the field of energy.

The Embassy also noted that President Ilham Aliyev expressed interest in using the experience and knowledge of Serbian institutions engaged in intellectual technologies in agriculture.

“We have an institute named BioSense, which specialises in the application of modern technologies in agriculture, and President Aliyev has expressed his interest in application of its experience in the liberated territories,” the embassy added.

It is also expected to discuss the participation of Azerbaijani companies in the construction of a gas power plant for electricity production in Belgrade.
