Armenia has not fulfilled its obligations after the Second Karabakh War, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Elnur Mammadov, said during the public hearings held in the Hague on the preliminary objections raised by Azerbaijan in the case concerning the Application of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) (by Armenia against Azerbaijan) at the International Court of Justice, Report informs.

Mammadov noted that Armenia illegally occupied the territories of Azerbaijan between 1991 and 1994, and this was reflected in the 4 UN resolutions: “Armenia has subjected the Azerbaijani population and culture to ethnic cleansing in the country’s previously occupied territories. Azerbaijani territories were illegally occupied between 1991 and 1994 and were kept under occupation for 30 years. This racist and nationalist ideology advocates the unification of all ethnic Armenians within a single monoethnic Armenian state.”
