158 countries and international organizations have already confirmed their participation at the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Baku, Report informs citing Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Ramiz Hasanov.

He said heads of states, ministers and heads of major organizations are also expected to attend the summit.

The Deputy Minister noted that 4 main documents are expected to be adopted during the summit-the main document is the Final Declaration of the Summit, Baku Political Declaration and Declaration of the Foreign Ministers on Palestine.

“The Non-Aligned movement is an impressive platform regulating international relations. The main task of the organization is to ensure and protect peace and security on the basis of international law, ” Hasanov said.

Notably, the 18th summit of the Non-Aligned Movement will be held in Baku on October 25-26. Foreign Ministers of the organization will discuss preparations for the organization’s summit at a meeting on October 23-24.

During the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijan will assume the presidency in the organization for three years.
