The early withdrawal of Russian peacekeepers from Karabakh is the greatest success and the pinnacle of President Ilham Aliyev’s diplomatic skills, MP Fazail Agamali said at the plenary session of the Azerbaijani parliament held on April 19, Report informs.

He said that this is also a logical continuation of the diplomatic achievement that manifested itself in the liberation of Kalbajar, Lachin, and Aghdam from occupation without martyrdom in the 44-day Patriotic War:

“From the beginning, every person who understood the policy of the head of state and stood by him, the absolute majority of the Azerbaijani people, considered the presence of peacekeepers after the Patriotic War as a temporary situation.”
