Copenhagen starts a flexible work week experiment, with some employees in certain departments to be able to choose a four-day work week instead of the usual five days, Copenhagen Mayor Sophie Hæstorp Andersen said, Report informs via TASS.
“As a municipality, we must provide the best possible service to the people of Copenhagen and therefore must do everything possible to create an attractive place to work with the right work-life balance, as this is important for job satisfaction and attracting new employees. So I am very pleased that we’re starting a flexible work week experiment. We’re working closely with professional bodies and I’m looking forward to overseeing that experiment,” she said.
