Head of the Presidential Administration, and the Coordination Headquarters for addressing the issues in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan in a centralized manner Samir Nuriyev has chaired a meeting dedicated to the results of the Headquarters’ biennial activity.

The meeting agenda included the evaluation of the past two years activity and the future tasks of the Coordination Headquarters, the issues related to the implementation of the “First State Program on Great Return to the liberated from the occupation territories of Azerbaijan” adopted by the Order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated on November 16, 2022, as well as the progress of implementation of tasks set by the head of state regarding the residents’ return to the liberated territories, including the city of Lachin, Zabukh and Sus villages, and other issues.

Addressing the meeting, Head of the Coordination Headquarters Samir Nuriyev highlighted the tasks set by President Ilham Aliyev during his visits to the liberated territories, as well as his last speeches made in Lachin and Shusha cities.

The meeting also heard speeches on the current issues of the meeting agenda, as well as reports on the implementation of the “Action Plan for the establishment of a “green energy” zone in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026″, the establishment of a sustainable energy system in the area, and issues of energy and heat supply.

The meeting also featured discussions on the current state of work related to the urban planning issues and the development of planning documents in the territories. Special representatives of the President of Azerbaijan provided information about the progress of projects implemented in the relevant territories.
