The Central Park in Baku’s Yasamal District is set to undergo a major transformation, with plans for expansion and improvements to its territory. According to a Report, citing the unified state procurement portal, the project is estimated to cost 38 million manats (over $22 million)

The expansion will see the park’s area encompass parts of S. Taghizada, A. Shaig, and N. Ashurbayova streets. As part of the project, buildings covering a total area of 36,658 square meters will be demolished to make way for the park’s new features.
