Turkiye’s position on Sweden and Finland’s membership in NATO is concrete, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with his Romanian and Polish counterparts, Report informs.

He said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan conveyed Ankara’s position to the leaders of both Finland and Sweden.

“Turkiye has always supported NATO’s open-door policy. Our protest is related to the support of terrorist organizations in those countries. We understand the concerns of Finland and Sweden, but everyone must respect our security measures.
