Prices for benchmark oil brands fell slightly on September 20 morning after active growth at the end of the previous session, Report informs referring to trading data.

The cost of November futures for Brent crude oil on the London ICE Futures exchange was $74.68 per barrel. Compared to the figure at the end of yesterday’s trading, this is $0.2 (0.27%) less.

WTI oil futures for October on electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell in price by $0.1 (0.14%), to $71.85 per barrel.

Since the beginning of the week, both brands have risen in price by more than 4% due to improved investor sentiment after the Federal Reserve cut the rate by 50 basis points at once, to 4.75-5%.
