In a significant diplomatic move, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, has confirmed his participation in the upcoming BRICS summit.

The high-profile event is scheduled to take place this October in Kazan (Tatarstan), Russia.

The announcement came from Rodrigo de Lima Baena Soares, Brazil’s ambassador to Moscow, who stated emphatically, “Yes, he will attend the meeting.”

This confirmation underscores the importance Brazil places on its role within the BRICS alliance
