BP has successfully completed the final stage of the educational project it has been supporting since 2023, Report informs.

The project titled “Skills for the Future” aims to improve the startup environment and expand the innovation ecosystem in Azerbaijan.

The program consisted of training sessions, mentoring, and other activities aimed at improving the quality of startup initiatives, incubation processes, and overall pre-investment preparation. The six-month program was designed for approximately 10 teams selected from numerous applicants.

The program was led by experienced mentors and experts from the Turkish startup mentoring company Bilisim Vadisi.

Speaking at the event, BP’s Vice President for Communications and External Affairs in the Caspian region, Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, said: “This project is a successful continuation of BP and partners’ efforts aimed at supporting the country’s developing startup environment and innovation ecosystem. We are very pleased that during the six months of training, participants had the opportunity to participate in the iFest International Innovation and Technology Festival in Türkiye, where one of the teams received the Global Champion Award.”
