The scenes from the ground in Turkiye and Syria are heartbreaking, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Twitter, according to Report.
US is already responding and will continue to find ways to assist the earthquake victims with search, rescue, and relief efforts, he tweeted.
“I am motivated to see Americans on the ground, helping those most in need,” the diplomat said.
In his another Twitter post, the US official announced that US helicopters are flying missions in support of Turkish response efforts to help with difficult-to-access areas.
