BIG Director: French government boosts pressure on regions under colonial rule

Although the French government, which is worried about the establishment of the Baku Initiative Group (BIG), has boosted pressure on the regions under colonial rule, international cooperation within this framework has expanded, Director of the Baku Initiative Group, Abbas Abbasov, said, Report informs.

Speaking at the conference on History, Modern Challenges, and the Expected Future at Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament), Abbasov emphasized that BIG will continue to support the regions suffering from colonial policy.

“Azerbaijan is combating colonialism and neocolonialism. The creation of BIG is a significant step to support the fair struggle of the colonies. Since the establishment of the group, BIG has held seven international conferences for seven months.”
