The transport corridor Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-EU is currently fully operational, Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Beknazar Bazaraliev said, Report informs via Kyrgyz media.

According to the deputy minister, domestic cargo carriers are already using this route to deliver goods to Europe.

“Our cargo carriers deliver their goods to Europe along the following route: from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, then to Turkmenistan, further across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, and finally to Europe. Today we are close to commissioning the North-South road, which opens up good prospects for this transport corridor,” he said.
