In January-July this year, Azerenerji OJSC produced 14,653.6 million kW/h of electricity, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.
This is 90% of the electricity produced throughout the country in seven months. In addition, thermal power plants (TPPs) owned by the joint-stock company produced 13,578 million kWh of energy, and hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) – 1,075.6 million kWh of energy.
During the reporting period, the State Energy Service of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic produced 268.8 million kWh of electricity (156.5 million kWh – thermal power plants, 77.8 million kWh – hydroelectric power plants, 34.5 million kWh – solar power plants), Azerishig OJSC produced 39.06 million kWh (0.24%) at wind power plants, 1,316.64 million kWh of energy at independent power plants.
