Azerbaijani serviceman Huseyn Akhundov, accused in a trumped-up case of the murder of a security guard at the Zangazur Copper-Molybdenum Plant and sentenced to 20 years in prison, has had his sentence toughened and replaced with life imprisonment, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

Armenia’s Criminal Court of Appeal upheld the complaint of the legal successors of the security guard of the enterprise, Hayrapet Meliksetyan.
