Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday made a phone call to his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, the Azerbaijani president’s press service reported.

During the phone conversation, the heads of state exchanged views on practical aspects of the implementation of the statements signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on 10 November 2020 and 11 January 2021.

They focused on the intensification of the work in a trilateral format on the restoration of economic ties and transport communications in the South Caucasus.
