The second Nagorno-Karabakh War, which ended in 2020, opened new horizons for expanding cooperation, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a panel discussion on “Global Challenges in the Post-COVID-19” held within the VIII Global Baku Forum under the motto “The world after COVID-19”.

Azerbaijani FM highlighted the border delimitation for the normalization of relations with Armenia.

“Azerbaijan is actively involved in the projects. For instance, we have signed comprehensive energy projects with Georgia and Turkey. These projects strengthen security in the region and make the peace process inevitable. Also, they will contribute to the development of the South Caucasus and have a positive impact around the world. Besides, neighbouring countries support this initiative”, Jeyhun Bayramov noted.
