A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed in Addis Ababa between the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) and the Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) to promote strategic cooperation, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
The document was signed by EIH CEO Dr. Brook Taye and AIH CEO Ruslan Alikhanov.
The memorandum aims to create a framework for cooperation between the parties in key areas such as knowledge exchange, experience and technology sharing, as well as joint investment initiatives. Brook Taye emphasized the importance of the partnership, calling the signed document a significant step towards strengthening economic ties between Ethiopia and Azerbaijan.
He noted that this would create a solid foundation for effective interaction in areas supporting sustainable economic growth, applying mutual experience in investment management. Ruslan Alikhanov also noted the significance of the partnership and emphasized the potential for cooperation between the two organizations.
According to him, the document will open new opportunities for knowledge transfer, implementation of technological developments, and realization of joint initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of state enterprises.
