The green energy concept for Nakhchivan will be ready in the coming weeks, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov said at the International Scientific Conference on “Sustainable Environment: Transition to Green Energy” held in Baku, Report informs.

“The technical and economic feasibility study for the Nakhchivan-Azerbaijan-Türkiye green energy corridor has been initiated, and a model for electricity export from Nakhchivan to Türkiye is being developed. As a second option in the technical and economic feasibility study, a scenario of connecting not only Nakhchivan but also the Jabrayil energy hub to Nakhchivan and Türkiye is being considered,” said Zeynalov.
