
The 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP28 has today kicked off in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and an Azerbaijani delegation is also attending the conference, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Umayra Taghiyeva said.
“The main topics of the conference, to run until December 12, include the transition to clean energy, climate finance, nature-based solutions, social inclusivity and other issues.
The COP28 conference is also slated to discuss and make decisions on other topics related to mitigating the climate change, climate resilience and adaptation,” she added.
