Azerbaijan’s ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria Tural Rzayev has presented his credentials to the President of this country Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The ambassador conveyed the greetings of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the head of state of Algeria.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune also asked to pass his greetings and sincere wishes on to the head of Azerbaijani state.

The President of Algeria emphasized that bilateral relations between the two nations had entered a new era, and wished the Azerbaijani diplomat success during his tenure.

The ambassador said that there is a great potential for the development of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of economy, culture and tourism.

The event was attended by Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra and the head of the Algerian Presidential Administration Abdelaziz Khalaf.
