The Abrau-Durso Group of Companies, the leader in the production of sparkling wine in Russia, plans to organize the production of sparkling wines at its production site in Azerbaijan – Sheki Winery, Report informs.
The company intends to produce 4 million bottles in 2023 and become one of the industry leaders in exports, the company representative said at the presentation on the project held in Baku.
According to Yusif Abdullayev, head of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), the development of viticulture and winemaking in Azerbaijan is one of the priorities for AZPROMO.
“We are pleased that Abrau-Durso Group of Companies has decided to develop its business in Azerbaijan. We believe the company will raise the enterprise to a new level within its obligations and realize the export potential of its wine products in foreign markets,” he said.
