Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, met with Ilhom Abdurakhmon, Ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the ministry.
Kamaladdin Heydarov expressed confidence that the meeting would be beneficial for expanding relations between the relevant emergency situations agencies of both countries.
He highlighted the potential for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and relevant state institutions of Tajikistan. The discussion also covered prospects for cooperation between the MES Academy of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan’s relevant institutions and educational establishments, particularly in training highly qualified specialists in this field.
Ilhom Abdurakhmon emphasized the continually expanding relations between the two countries. He mentioned the mutual benefits of developing relations between the relevant agencies in the field of emergency prevention and response and assured that he would spare no effort in this direction.
The meeting included an extensive exchange of views on matters of mutual interest.
