Approximately 2.26 billion manats ($1.329 billion) of taxes were transfered to the state budget of Azerbaijan through the State Tax Service under the Economy Ministry in January 2025, Report informs, referring to the State Tax Service.
Over 1.378 billion manats ($810.7 million), or 61% of the tax revenues, came from the non-oil and gas sector, which is 11.6% more year-on-year.
This year, it is anticipated that 15.5 billion manats ($9.117 billion) will be transferred to Azerbaijan’s state budget through the State Tax Service. Of this, 75.3% or 11.67 billion manats ($6.864 billion) is expected to be derived from the non-oil-gas sector, while 24.7% or 3.83 billion manats (around $2.252 billion) is anticipated from the oil-gas sector.
These projections reflect an 18% increase in revenue from the non-oil-gas sector and a 3.6% decrease from the oil-gas sector compared to the previous year.
