Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has met with a delegation headed by Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna Ghada Fathy Ismail Waly within the COP29, Report informs.
Kamran Aliyev emphasized the highest level of COP29 organization under the direct leadership of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, the parties noted the importance of cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations, and discussed the upcoming high-level session on November 15 titled “Mobilizing law enforcement agencies in the fight against climate change,” organized by Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office and UNODC, and co-chaired by the UAE Ministry of Interior.
Ghada Waly expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality, and expressed confidence in expanding cooperation both on a bilateral basis and within international organizations.
