“Detainees that Armenia’s MFA refers to are criminals, sent to Azerbaijan by Armenia 2 weeks after the Trilateral Statement. International courts denied Armenia-requested measures to release them,” Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson Aykhan Hajizada said on Twitter, Report informs.

“In contrary, Armenia still does not provide information on 3800 missing persons. Armenia ethnically cleansed around 1 million Azerbaijanis from Armenia and Azerbaijani territories, and still prevents the secure and dignified return of refugees and IDPs,” he tweeted.
