“The 814 Call Center in Baku directs citizens suspected of being COVID-19 to proper stations, informs those who need advice about a medical institution in their area, and provides contacts with field doctors,” said Sevda Mammadova, a member of the working group set up by the Ministry of Health.

“Six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 8 pm, 40 operators work at 814 Call Centers, and the number of incoming calls in July exceeded 11,000,” she added.
S.Mammadova said that patients with severe symptoms and fever over 38 should call the Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid number 103:

“814 Call Center registers complaints about the ways of contacting polyclinics and the process of treatment at home. Among the calls received by the Call Center are related to the provision of medical care to critically ill patients treated at home. Citizens are told that patients with severe symptoms, such as a fever of 38 or higher, must be hospitalized and treated in an inpatient setting. Their condition is variable and may worsen at any time.

Thus, depending on the type of appeal and complaint, the working group’s relevant member deals with this issue.”
