Perspectives related to increasing non-oil exports and participation in investment projects were discussed between Azerbaijan and Spain, Report informs.

The discussions were held between Yusif Abdullayev, executive director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), and Alicia Varela, director general of the International Trade and Investments Department of the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise.

According to Varela, Spain is interested in the development of economic and trade relations with Azerbaijan and that the institution she represents is ready to provide necessary support in this direction.

It was noted that Azerbaijan’s positive business environment and wide investment potential offer favorable conditions for Spanish companies to establish joint ventures in the country, and this, in turn, can play an important role in supporting developing trade relations.
