“Kazakhstan is one of the priority destinations for the Azerbaijani tourism market among Central Asian countries, and we are interested in further expanding our relations,” Chairman of Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency Fuad Naghiyev said at a meeting with Deputy Culture and Sports Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Yerkinbayev on May 23, Report informs.

Naghiyev noted that tourism was gradually restored in the country, new tourism products and routes were created, and Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities were presented at the Kazakhstan International Tourism and Travel – KITF 2022 exhibition held in Almaty last month.

The chairman said that projects were being developed to create new tourism products in Azerbaijan’s lands liberated during the 44-day war, and the tourism potential of Karabakh was being promoted at international exhibitions.
