Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports, as Vice-Chairman of the Ninth Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP9) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport, attended the Formal Meeting of COP9 Bureau and the Fund Approval Committee under the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport in New Delhi, India.

Following the meetings, the minister participated in the MoU signing ceremony between National Anti-Doping Agency, India (NADA India) and National Law University Delhi.

As part of the visit, Minister Farid Gayibov also met with his Indian counterparts, including Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Nikhil Khadse to discuss current relations between the two countries in youth and sports, as well as explore prospects for collaboration.

The 2nd Formal Meeting of COP9 Bureau and the 3rd Formal Meeting of the Fund Approval Committee under the UNESCO International Convention against Doping in Sport in Delhi serve as a vital platform for countries and international organizations to deliberate on key issues concerning anti-doping, the development of fair sports practices, and global collaboration in upholding the principles of integrity in sport.
