Azerbaijan invited Italian companies to a more active cooperation in the business sector, the Ministry of Economy told Report.
Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov met with Italian Minister of Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, who is visiting Azerbaijan to participate in the 9th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council.
The Minister of Economy emphasized the successful development of relations between the countries, the important role of the visits of the heads of state, and the negotiations in strengthening the partnership. It was noted that Italy is one of the main trade partners of Azerbaijan, and economic and trade cooperation is expanding. The strengthening of mutual investment activities is one of the main goals of bilateral relations.
The meeting provided information about the favorable business and investment environment of Azerbaijan.
