In January-April this year, Azerbaijan imported 6,848 tons of butter worth $ 37.165 million, which means 44.5% growth in value terms and 30% in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan imported 2,743 tons (+5.7 %) of butter worth $ 16.542 million (39.2 % more compared to the previous year) from New Zeeland, 2,259 tons (+36.1 times) worth $ 9.569 million (+38.3 times) from Iran, 473 tons (-57.2 %) tons worth $ 2.896 million (-48.2 %) from Ukraine, 375.69 tons (+44.2 %) tons worth $ 2.073 million (+38.7 %) from Finland, 307.23 tons (-51 %) tons worth $ 1.976 million (-39 %) from Belarus, 268.44 tons (+33.5 times) tons worth $ 1.397 million (+23.7 times) from Turkiye.

In January-April this year, Azerbaijan exported 119 tons of butter worth $ 621,610, which means 621 times growth in value terms and 626 times in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.
