Head of Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev conveyed the recommendations of the Ministry at the conference dedicated to strengthening the international cooperation of NGOs organized jointly with the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations and ADA University, Report informs.
He noted that during the 44-day Patriotic War, some UN reporters made untrue allegations against Azerbaijan (torture of Armenian soldiers, etc.):
“However, those special reporters aren’t biased against Azerbaijan. The main reason for their claims is the appeals of Armenian NGOs and social activists to these persons regarding these or other issues. Our civil society should take practical action to prove our right on all issues. It is necessary to keep in constant contact with UN agencies reporters.”
