Azerbaijan has made changes to the names and powers of Commissions on Minors’ Affairs and Protection of Their Rights operating in the country, Report informs.

In this regard, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the Family Code and the law “On Approval of the Regulations on Commissions on Minors’ Affairs and Protection of Their Rights.”

From now on, these commissions will be called “Commissions for the Protection of Children’s Rights.”
