Thirteen mass graves have been discovered so far in the liberated territories, said Eldar Samedov, deputy head of the working group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons.

He gave the figures during his speech at the presentation of the documentary film “13”, which tells about the unknown fate of those who went missing during the Khojaly tragedy.

Eldar Samedov recalled that 613 people were killed in Khojaly: “After the liberation of our lands from occupation, the State Commission receives new appeals about missing persons. Taking into account the new appeals, the number of missing persons in the Khojaly genocide exceeds 200. On February 23, the 13th mass grave was discovered in the liberated territories. We will work until we know the fate of all our missing citizens”.
