Azerbaijan’s parliamentary elections have been conducted in free and democratic conditions, Chairman of the Ethiopian Parliament’s House of Representatives Committee Evebete Alene Yalev said.

“Our mission to the polling stations began at 08:00 (GMT +4). Based on our observations, we noticed that everything went smoothly at the polling stations, without any interference in their work.

The chairmen of the election commissions were well aware of their duties and rights and made every effort to provide assistance to voters in the best possible manner, showing them due respect,” he emphasized.

The snap parliamentary elections were held in Azerbaijan on September 1.
