Experts are conducting technical examinations as part of the investigation into the AZAL airliner crash, and authorities are awaiting their results, Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Transport Talgat Lastayev said, Report informs via Kazakh media.

“Currently, we are in the examination period. There are certain technical examinations that take time. Now it’s in process… We are waiting for their results,” he said, adding that experts from different countries investigating the air crash are in constant communication with each other.

Lastayev noted that Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport cannot comment beyond what is stated in the preliminary report on the AZAL crash. He asked to wait for the final report of the air crash investigation commission, which is expected by the end of 2025.
