
Austria doesn’t intend to join NATO, but doesn’t refuse partnership with the alliance, either, Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg said, Report informs referring to TASS.
“Militarily, we are a neutral state. We do not plan to join NATO. For us, the European security architecture consists not only of NATO, but also of the EU, the OSCE,” he said on ORF radio.
Austria has been participating in the NATO Partnership for Peace program since 1995 and intends to continue this interaction, he noted.
