An Armenian provocation has been thwarted at an international film festival in Morocco, the Azerbaijani Embassy in the country told Report.

A film by Katia Spivakova Saakiants was planned to be shown at the Issni N’ourgh International du Film Amazigh (FINIFA) film festival, which is taking place in the city of Agadir on September 11-15.

The film All I Need, which was supposed to be shown on September 13, was about events in the Azerbaijani territories that were under Armenian occupation.

The film refers to Karabakh as “Artsakh” within Armenia and also mentions the so-called “Armenian genocide”. Thanks to the efforts of the Azerbaijani Embassy, which held talks with the festival organizers and relevant Moroccan departments, the screening of the provocative film was canceled.
