Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Overchuk and Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko in Yerevan, Report informs, citing the press service of the Armenian Government.

The sides discussed the issues related to the opening of communications in the South Caucasus.

“We appreciate the work already done within the framework of the tripartite working group on the opening of regional road and rail communications. You know how important this issue is for us, because the situation in the region will change when we find concrete solutions. We are interested in a tangible positive result,” Pashinyan said.

According to Overchuk, Russia shares Pashinyan’s assessment of establishing transport links between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
