Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense has refuted Armenian media reports alleging that the Azerbaijani army opened fire on an Armenian village. “The Armenian media reports alleging that the Azerbaijani army units stationed in the direction of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic fired at an Armenian village are absolutely groundless. This information is false, it is disinformation,” the ministry told AZERTAC in response to the agency’s question.

“At the same time we state that a civilian tractor that was engaged in agricultural work in the territory of Goygol district was fired on by Armenian snipers this morning. There were no casualties. The enemy was silenced after retaliation,” the ministry added.
