After revising Armenia’s 2025 draft budget, the projected GDP will decrease by 158 billion drams (approximately $405 million), Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said in the country’s parliament, Report informs referring to Armenian media.
As a result, GDP is projected at 10.89 trillion drams (instead of the previous 11.05 trillion drams).
The authorities also lowered economic growth forecasts from 5.6% to 5.1%.
Regarding budget revenues, they will amount to 2.837 trillion drams, which is 35.5 billion drams less compared to the initial figure.
Budget expenditures will amount to 3.441 trillion drams.
