The national low-cost airline of Armenia, Fly Arna, created jointly with Air Arabia Group, is ceasing its operations. A decision on this will be made by December 4, according to the Zhokhovurd newspaper, Report informs.
There is a very serious problem related to the organizational and financial issues of the company. The head of Fly Arna, David Papazyan, hired people without appropriate specialization, appointing them to serious positions with high salaries.
“All documents and obvious violations were presented to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. It was because of this that serious disagreements arose, and Pashinyan decided that it would be better if this company didn’t operate flights,” reads the message.
The failure of this company is also associated with the mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, since he was an intermediary in the company’s arrival in Armenia.
